Moonlight Events Wedding | Vancouver, Washington
DaBina and Mengtheng had such an intimate wedding at Moonlight Events in Vancouver, Washington. They found me via a Oregon Wedding Videographer Facebook page (even though they were getting married just across the border), and asked if I would be willing to travel up to Vancouver. I said you bet!
We met up in person, which I love! We spoke about their wedding day and plans for it. They wanted to hire a wedding videographer, but had specific wants. They only wanted a short highlight video, and to have their ceremony, speeches, and cake cutting in another video. Something I could do? Absolutely!
Moonlight Events is such a cute, quaint little wedding venue in Vancouver, Washington. Being that the wedding was in mid-December, it was a different vibe than I was used to, but I liked it! The nice, crisp, cold, PNW weather. It was a clear day, but definitely chilly out. Their colors we’re a classy pink, white, and gold. Inside the venue, everything felt so classy and cozy at the same time.
For a smaller, and more intimate wedding like this, my goal is to make the couple and guests as comfortable as possible. The less guests that there are, the more that me, as the videographer, stick out. So I’ll try to talk to guests at times, make conversation when appropriate, sing along, whatever it may be. It makes people feel more comfortable about a camera pointing at them!
In the end, they loved their video, and I was so happy to hear that!
Google Review from the couple:
“George was able to capture everything we wanted for our wedding. He was kind and patient and our deliverable was perfect! If we have another event, we will definitely be contacting George. We highly recommend him to capture your most valuable and special moments.”
