Pickering Barn Wedding | Issaquah, Washington
The opportunity to film a fall wedding in Issaquah, WA, was one I couldn’t pass up. My wife and I love the greater Seattle area, where we have family and visit often. When Aysia and Brennan reached out looking for a wedding videographer, I was thrilled. They found my work online and asked if I was willing to travel—of course, I said yes! Their wedding was set for the beautiful Pickering Barn, and I couldn’t wait to capture their special day.
During our initial call, I got to know Aysia and Brennan, which is always a priority for me. I love connecting with couples before the big day, learning about their story, and sharing a bit about myself. They’ve been through a lot together and were ready to start the next chapter of their lives.
On the day of the wedding, I drove from Renton to the stunning Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie, where they were getting ready and having their first look. The fall scenery was breathtaking—vibrant trees, crisp air, and the perfect autumn vibe. Afterward, we headed back to Issaquah for the ceremony and reception at Pickering Barn. The venue’s rustic charm, spacious layout, and gorgeous surroundings made it an ideal setting for Aysia and Brennan’s celebration.
One memorable aspect of the day was the deep love and respect shown for the elders on both sides of the family. It was truly touching to witness. To capture the couple’s joy, I suggested they shout, “We got married today!” as loud as they could. Their energy was infectious, and it turned out to be one of my favorite moments—catch it at the 1:56 mark in the video!
